Piece from my ECU exhibition Fragments of Memoirs and Metaphors. I've been meaning to digitize everything for months. Better late than never, yeah?
Yesterday's Household Name done in oil on canvas.
Some of my art was moving in the direction of popular branding and food packaging. At least I wanted for it to. While this painting can simply stand as a still life, its representation for me is a dying recognition. You will find it harder and harder to find white Wonderbread brand, as it's becoming unpopular to the consumer. But wasn't this iconic of days of yore?
