Sheesh, it's been way, way long since I've been up here.
Not to say I haven't been art making. It's just that..well, it's like a side story within a series. The direction of focus just shifts for awhile. I've continued making prints(albeit at a glacial pace), I'm still drawing and sketching, and thinking of new areas of interest for more bodies of work.
And on top of that....well, Street Fighter has been high on precidence for awhile. Not just the games and that hours I devote to improving, but the community itself. Being in Socal has placed me in the heart of the fighting game niche in America, and I've gotten to know the great people and pro competitors of the sport. It's been rewarding to contribute to this great thing.
Er, but I guess that's a bit of side story. The direction still remains, I'm still art making and looking forward to MFA work ahead in the future. If you'd like to keep more tabs on me(and they tend to be more frequent) you can check out my blog at wakasashe.blogspot.com. See ya!

Great '08
Pretty good year. I've done plenty, started plenty, need to do even more.
But it's definitely been good overall, and things could be even better once I learn to complete something before finding interest in something else. Alas, what can ya do.
I've managed to tie up a few loose end; Completed a few nice etchings this year(to be uploaded..well, sometime), did some Street Fighter art(see recent entries), been brotherly - and family life's in a pretty good swing right now, and got a new blog up and running, which does get updated a little more frequently.
Ah, but with all that's been completed, I've taken on some new projects as well....the
'!'
My last entry was about a year ago. Y'know, a year's a long time. But I'm still kickin'.
Hope all of my friends have been doing good and making good art. Me? I've been active. My projects as of late have been completing Metal Gear Solid 4, working at Fedex Kinkos, working as Art Director with a private company, and doodles. Lots of doodles. Eventually I'll get around to posting again, but I'll be damned if 65+ hour work weeks don't suck the life outta ya. :0
Any who. Had to drop a quick line, check out a few neat things and get back to the fifty-some errands I should be doing.
Drop me a line. :)
Lotsa cream, lotsa sugar.
I keep busy at work. It replaced my art building void. Not the best replacement, but it is. I'm enrolling in a printmaking class starting in a few weeks. I'm slow at updating. I eat Del-Taco at night too much.
More updates to come, so you know I'm not dead. Missing quite a few of you folks, that I'll get around to commenting on my favorite pieces you've cranked out since my last visit.
And lastly, my recent happenings in June(which can be found on my site at www.memoirsandmetaphors.com ):
It's summer time, and I'm due for an update, a haircut, and time off work. Thankfully, I've gotten all those things. Check out the gallery for new
Surprize! No?
It's no surprize I've not been too up to date on all the news, art and such here in ol' Deviantart. But that doesn't mean I can't update once every blue moon. So you're either surprized that I'm checking in or not. Here I am anyway.
Not much is new in George Land, I'm working like no-body's-business, and being a full time big brother.
Recently I went to the LA Wizard Con, and it was a blast. I put together a little Spring Sketchbook which you'll be able to check out before long. But after short.
I also saw Lou Ferrigno and Bud Bundy. In close proximity.
On a very sad note, Resident Evil Outbreak 2 went offline over the weekend, with
